(UTV | COLOMBO) – A Chinese woman in Sri Lanka has tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The 43-year-old woman arrived from the Hubei Province in China.
She has been admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Angoda.
The Ministry of Health urged the public not to panic but take appropriate precautions.
The Ministry emphasised that all steps are being taken to prevent the virus from spreading in Sri Lanka.
