Chinese coronavirus patient in SL fully recovered-official

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The 43 year-old female Chinese national who was admitted to the IDH, Colombo last week after she tested positive for the new coronavirus, has fully recovered, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.

“She has complete recovered from her illness, she can be discharged anytime,” Dr. Jasinghe said.

On January 25, she was admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH), Angoda after she developed symptoms for fever. Later she has been tested positive for the new coronavirus making her the first case of positive coronavirus reported in Sri Lanka.
