Buses playing loud music to be identified from today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The National Transport Commission says raids to identify private buses playing loud music will commence today.

The time period granted to obtain the CD with 1,000 classical songs, approved to be played in buses, concluded yesterday.

Accordingly the National Transport Commission said groups have been deployed from today to identify buses that continue to play loud music.

Passengers also have the opportunity to file complaints pertaining to buses playing loud music or videos via the NTC hotline 1955.
