(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another 41 persons have been arrested during the past 24 hours ending at 6 this morning on charges of violating quarantine regulations.
Accordingly, a total of 81,521 persons have been arrested over violating quarantine laws since October last year.
Police said 2,466 persons were inspected at 13 entry and exit points to the Western Province yesterday. 312 persons, travelling without a valid reason, were turned back at checkpoints.
