(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another 333 individuals have been arrested on charges of violating quarantine regulations.
Police said during the past 24-hours ending at 6am, 21 vehicles have also been seized.
79,247 suspects have been arrested thus far over violating quarantine laws.
1,149 vehicles entering and leaving the Western Province were inspected yesterday while 251 persons who attempted to travel through in violation of quarantine regulations were turned back.
