(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another 1,091 people were arrested on charges of violating curfew regulations yesterday.
374 vehicles had also been seized during the daily operation which ended at 4.00 am today.
Accordingly the total number of persons arrested in violation of curfew now rises to 71,133, while police have also seized 20,230 vehicles since the 20th of March.
