(UTV | COLOMBO) – All State and private banks to remain open tomorrow (12), despite it being declared as a Government holiday, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) stated.
Monday, 12 April declared as a Special Government Holiday, the Ministry of Public Administration stated.
The Ministry stressed that the holiday has been declared in view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Tuesday (13) and Wednesday (14) are already mercantile and public holidays to mark the New Year.
