(UTV|COLOMBO) – The 11 positive cases of COVID-19 detected on Friday (08) are from the Naval Base in Welisara, says the Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
Sri Lanka confirmed 835 COVID-19 cases with the 11 persons who tested positive for the virus on Friday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry says 404 out of this total count are naval personnel.
Twenty-one of these coronavirus-positive naval personnel have made complete recoveries from the disease as of today (09).
