(UTV | COLOMBO) – The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A/L) and Grade 5 Scholarship Examinations have been postponed.
Accordingly, the Examinations will not be held in August as scheduled.
The decision to postpone the Examinations was made as the syllabus had not been fully covered because the schools were not properly functioned over the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Education stated that the new dates for the Examinations will be announced before long.
