(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The case filed against Ex-Minister of Media Keheliya Rambukwella by Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for allegedly misusing state funds will be taken up for hearing once again today (23rd Thursday).
The case will be taken up before the Colombo Magistrates Court.
During the last hearing, Bribery Commission filed oppositions against the submissions made by defence attorneys.
The verdict pertaining to the matter will be pronounced today.
The Bribery Commission filed the case against the Former Minister for allegedly misusing 990,000 rupees in state funds belonging to the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Cooperation during the period leading up to the 2015 Presidential Election.
