Sri Lanka, Russia aim to boost relations between Armies

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The new Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Colonel Denis I. Shkoda made his first formal visit to the Army Headquarters on Tuesday (02) and paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake.

The cordial discussion that ensued focused on sound bilateral relations that prevail between both organisations and countries. Towards the end of the interaction, an exchange of mementos took place.
