(UTV|COLOMBO) A fire has erupted last night in the Wellawaya-Athiliwewa forest reserve and it is reported that over 20 acres of land have been damaged due to the fire.
Followed by this incident 18 military personnel from the Buttala Army camp have been deployed to douse the fire.
Police said that several agriculture lands adjoining the forest reserve have also been damaged by the fire.
