(UTV|COLOMBO) Torrential rains, overflowing rivers and a series of landslides have claimed around 45 lives in Kerala over the past week.
Cochin International Airport had initially announced that operations would be suspended till Wednesday afternoon. But operations of the Cochin International Airport have been suspended till 2 pm on Saturday due to flooding in and around the airport.
A red alert has been issued in all 14 districts of the state.
Followed by this all flight services between Colombo and Kochi, India have been cancelled until Saturday (18) afternoon due to the flood situation.
Cochin International Airport’s official website showed that several flights had been diverted, cancelled and indefinitely delayed.
