GMOA strike today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has decided to launch an island-wide strike at 8.00 AM on Friday (03).

Accordingly, channelling and private practice will also be halted during the strike.

However, all emergency treatment will not be affected by the strike while the Doctors will carry out all emergency care as usual. The strike will not take place at all Children’s, Maternity, Cancer, Kidney and Army Hospitals in the country.
