Three people were killed and 18 others injured after several vehicles collided on a road in Madinah, a rescue official has said.
The accident took place on Monday afternoon on Al Hejra road in Madinah as a result of a sandstorm that reduced visibility, spokesman for the Saudi Red Crescent in the city, Khalid Bin Mesaed, added.
Fifteen ambulances were dispatched to the site of the crash where 10 people with minor injuries were treated, while eight others were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, he added, according to Saudi news portal Ajel.
The dead and wounded victims were of different nationalities and ages, the official said without giving further details.
