(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka and Egypt have enjoyed time-tested and friendly ties since the establishment of bilateral relations, the Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen said.

Minister Bathiudeen commemorated the bilateral relations in a message shared to his Twitter page, stating “Sri Lanka and Egypt bilateral relations longstanding.”
He further added that the last year’s bilateral trade was close to USD 50 million.
