(UTV|COLOMBO) – The main suspects have been arrested over the murder of an individual in Wanniyakulam in Anuradhapura, the Police said.
The Police said that the main suspect and a few others had been arrested over the crime and are being questioned.
The main suspect was identified as 37-year-old Mampatidewahelage Chaminda Pushpakumara alias Pulleyar Chaminda.
Sujeewa Prasanna Kumara Hettiarachchi was hacked to death recently following an alleged incident where he had assaulted the suspects who had attempted to sexually abuse his daughter at a wedding.
