Brutal killing of endangered leopard: Four suspects remanded [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UPDATE: The four suspects, who were arrested on Sunday night (25) for brutally killing an endangered leopard in Kilinochchi, were remanded until 29 July by the Kilinochchi Magistrate.

The arrested suspects of ages 22 to 24 are residents of Kilinochchi.

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Another four suspects have been arrested for their involvement in the brutal killing of an endangered leopard in Kilinochchi.

The suspects, age between 22 and 26, were arrested Sunday (24) night, and scheduled to be produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate’s Court today (25).

Two suspects arrested earlier for their involvement in the killing of the leopard were remanded until 29 June.

A total of six persons have been arrested so far over the incident.
