(UTV|COLOMBO) – A delegation of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) led by Director General Matthew Morell met President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s House on Tuesday (19).
President Sirisena pointing out that climate change is now a major issue, said IRRI technology is needed for Sri Lanka to develop its rice sector and in the future, to develop a rice export market.
