HR Petition filed against Sri Lanka Medical Council

 

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Center Against Private Medical Colleges filed a petition with the Human Rights Commission, against the Sri Lanka Medical Council today.

The petition stated that the SLMC is moving towards the registration of a group of applicants who have insufficient clinical training.

The petition further stated that rights of the general public will be violated if such substandard applicants are registered as medical practitioners.
