UTV | COLOMBO – With the increase of fuel prices by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Lanka Indian Oil Company also decided to increase its fuel prices by midnight yesterday (May 10).
Accordingly, the revised price of 92 octane petrol stands at 137 rupees per litre, while 95 octane petrol price per litre stands at 151 rupees at Lanka IOC sheds.
A spokesperson for the company noted that the prices of Auto Diesel have been increased to 111 rupees while super diesel has been increased to 119 rupees per litre.
Lanka IOC increased fuel prices recently as well.
Effective from midnight last night, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation also increased their fuel prices.
The price of petrol was increased by 20 rupees per litre.
Auto diesel increased by 14 rupees per litre and Super Diesel by 9 rupees per litre.
As a result of the price increases, the Octane 92 increased from 117 rupees to 137 rupees per litre, Octane 95 increased from 128 rupees to 148 rupees per litre, a litre of auto diesel increased from 95 to 109 rupees and super diesel will now sell at 119 rupees per litre.
Additionally, the price of a litre of kerosene increased to 101 rupees, which is a price hike of 57 rupees per litre.
