(UTV|COLOMBO) – A twelve-member committee had been appointed to recommend new party office bearers and propose internal reforms and restructure of the United National Party (UNP) before 30 April.
The twelve-member committee includes Navin Dissanayake, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Harin Fernando, Ranjith Maddduma Bandara, Mangala Samaraweera, Ajith P. Perera, Eran Wickramaratne, J. C. Alawathuwela, Ruwan Wijewardene, Gayantha Karunatilleke, Nalin Bandara, and Asoka Priyantha.
UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa and Assistant Leader Ravi Karunanayake were appointed to the committee as ex-officio members.
