Navy Commander concludes tour of India

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne has completed his five day official tour of India.

The Navy said the Vice Admiral also visited the Southern Naval Command in Kochi yesterday.

During talks with the Commanding Chief of the Southern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Wijegunaratne requested assistance in realizing the Navy’s vision, in terms of providing constant training for Sri Lankan officers and sailors in operating Offshore Patrol Vessels.
