(UTV|COLOMBO) – Rosy Senanayake of the United National Party (UNP) on Thursday (22) officially assumed duties as the first ever female Mayor of the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC).
She took oaths before the Party Leader and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees on Monday (19).
Mohammed Iqbal took oaths as the Deputy Mayor.
