UTV | COLOMBO – Police Media Unit says that the luxury car that toppled into a canal in Thalawathugoda on Saturday (Mar. 17) is now kept at Thalangama Police Station.
Police have also established the owner of the car.
He is from the Madiwela area.
Police said based on CCTV footage it has been proved that the registered owner of the car was driving the vehicle when it met with the accident.
Police also said there is no link of President Maithripala Sirisena to this luxury vehicle.
