Perfume permission mandatory – National Medicine Regulatory Authority

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The National Medicine Regulatory Authority has been entrusted with regulating all perfumes produced in the country and the ones that are imported, the State media reported on Sunday (11).

Accordingly it has been made mandatory to get the approval of the National Medicine Regulatory Authority to all perfumes produced locally and the imported ones.

Chief Executive of the Authority Dr. Kamal Jayasinghe said that importing, production and distribution of perfumes without an approval has been banned. He said that officials of the Authority would be deployed to check such places.
