(UTV|COLOMBO) – Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRC) has informed all internet service providers to restrain 3G and 4G internet access in violence-hit Kandy District until further notice.
Meanwhile, TRC currently monitors all social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Viber, WhatsApp, and YouTube to crackdown hate speech.
