(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Joint Opposition (JO) on Wednesday (21) announced that due to the delay of appointing representatives elected through the Local Authority Election and against several Financial Acts proposed on behalf of the people’s mandate, the Joint Opposition will launch a series of rallies from 06 March to urge the Government to dissolve the Parliament.
Accordingly, the first rally will be held on 06 March in Nugegoda under the patronage of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
