UTV | COLOMBO – Speaker Karu Jayasuriya decided to adjourn the Parliamentary sittings for 15 minutes a short while ago.
The decision was announced after Joint Opposition’s group leader, MP Dinesh Gunawardena urged the Speaker to allow the current political situation in the country to be debated.
Thereafter, the Speaker adjourned sittings to have a party leaders’ meeting.
