(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United National Party (UNP) has taken up the position that changes of the party would not be done according to the whims of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) but must come intrinsically from the UNP.
Addressing the media following a special meeting Chaired by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees a short while ago (13), several UNP backbench Parliamentarians announced that the UNP has decided to form an independent Government.
