Nepali Chief of the Army Staff meets Commander of the Navy

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of the Nepal Army General Rajendra Chhetri who is on an official visit to Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo yesterday (19).

Upon the arrival, he was accorded a Guard of Honour in compliance with naval traditions and warmly received at the Naval Headquarters. They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interests and mementos were exchanged symbolizing the goodwill of the two friendly forces in the region.

The visiting Nepali COAS also posed for a photograph with the Commander of the Navy and Director Generals.
