UTV | COLOMBO – Many areas of the country including that of the Western Province experienced unusually thick misty condition during early hours of today (15).
The temperature also declined considerably due to this weather phenomenon.
The Met Department predicted that similar weather conditions could prevail during the next few months in those regions.
However, our correspondent said the hill country including Nuwara Eliya is yet to experiences cold weather during this season.
