(UTV|COLOMBO) – Investors from 7 countries will be in Colombo this month for the first Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Conclave.
The business seminar will be held at the Kingsbury Hotel on 28 and 29 November and will focus on highlighting investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.
Former Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) and Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Palitha Kohona, will open the event. Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy, Minister of Megapolis Development Champika Ranawaka, and Deputy Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs Dr. Harsha de Silva will also speak.
The topics will include China’s ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative, sector-specific investment opportunities, and Sri Lanka’s position as a ‘Gateway to India.’
The seminar is sponsored by the Federation of Industry and Commerce of China, the Colombo Chamber of Commerce, and the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
