“Government will take rapid actions to complete requirements of IDH Hospital” – President

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena made an observation tour to IDH Hospital in Angoda on Saturday (17).

He stated that the Government will take rapid actions to complete the requirements of the hospital.

The congestion occurred at the hospital due to the admission of large number of Dengue patients to the hospital was settled down after sending them to the hospitals in Thalangama, Vethara, and Piliyandela with required facilities.

The President directed the officials to ensure the service of the specialist doctors to the patients sent to other hospitals.

President Sirisena also observed the ward complex of the hospital and had cordial discussions with the patients.

He met the hospital staff and inquired about any other requirements for the hospital.

Minister of Health Rajitha Senarathne and the Director of the Hospital Dimuthu Rathnayake joined the President in this observation.
