27,105 released from quarantine centres

UTV | COLOMBO – 171 persons held at dedicated quarantine facilities maintained by the Sri Lanka Army are due to be released today.

The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak said 27,105 persons have completed the mandatory quarantine procedure at dedicated centres in the country.

Meanwhile, 3,409 persons are still held at quarantine centres maintained by the Army.

The COVID-19 Operation Centre also noted that 10 persons arrived in the country this morning from Doha, Qatar.

The group was directed to quarantine centres following medical tests.
