(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has issued a warning requesting all residents living in settlements found on low ground around the Kelani, Kalu, Gin, and Nilwala Rivers to be on alert.
The Department of irrigation stated that residents in low lying areas close to the riverbanks should be on alert.
