Tribal leader Wannila Aththo receives death threats notes

(UTV | COLOMBO) – “I talked about Wasantha Mudalige recently. I have now received an anonymous letter of death threats for speaking,” tribal leader Wannila Aththo said yesterday (10th) at Dambana Kotabakiniya village in Uruwariga.

“If there is a problem not only for Wasantha Mudali but for any other Sinhala Tamil who lives in this village, I have to find out. So I talked about this Wasantha Mudalige in the last few days. So, as a result of that conversation, I have now received death threats from an anonymous letter.

Many people have been asking me about the anonymous letter I received recently. What is the action taken on this? I ask the authorities in this country to investigate those who do this kind of work. What is the reason for doing this? Find out what the matter is.

I am not a stay-at-home leader. I also go to the events held by the government of this country. I go to other ones too. I also go to temples. I go everywhere. But if I get into trouble anywhere, I will be held accountable”, Vannila aththo said.
