Special announcement from Litro

(UTV | COLOMBO) –  Litro Company has announced that they will not release new gas cylinders to the local market until December this year.

Due to Litro Company’s ongoing project to order new cylinders for Sri Lankans living abroad for their relatives living in Sri Lanka the company has taken this step.

As a solution to the dollar crisis facing the country, Litro recently introduced this system recently.

Mr. Muditha Peiris, Chairman of Litro Company, has said that a significant number of Sri Lankans abroad have paid dollars and ordered new cylinders through that method.

He has further said that the daily demand for gas has decreased slightly due to people using gas sparingly.
