(UTV | UNITED KINGDOM) – Valorie Curry and Susan Hayward have joined the fourth season of Amazon’s “The Boys” series, while Cameron Crovetti has been upgraded to a series regular.
Crovetti plays Homelander’s son Ryan who has become increasingly important in the story to both Antony Starr’s vicious superpowered sociopath and Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher.
The upgrade suggests he’ll be a key player next season, matching show creator Eric Kripke’s assessment a few weeks ago that there’s a “‘Kramer vs. Kramer’ meets ‘Avengers: Endgame’” style rich storyline to mine next season.
Meanwhile, Curry plays the superhero Firecracker, while Heyward will portray Sister Sage. Both characters aren’t in the comics so nothing is known beyond their names.
“The Boys” fourth season is expected to begin production shortly ahead of airing sometime next year.
