IMF negotiations with SL to begin in the days ahead

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The International Monetary Fund has confirmed that negotiations with Sri Lanka will begin in the days ahead.

IMF Spokesperson Gerry Rice said the negotiations with Sri Lanka will take place in the coming days, adding that Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa is expected to attend the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC in April.
