‘Don’t gather at filling stations for diesel’ says CPC

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has informed the public to refrain from gathering around filling stations today and tomorrow in order to obtain diesel.

The Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation said a ship carrying 37,500MT of diesel arrived in Sri Lanka, yet could not be offloaded as planned.

He said diesel will continue to be supplied for vehicles engaged in essential services.

Meanwhile, the CPC Chairman said the supply of petrol will continue as usual.
