(UTV | COLOMBO) – Three persons including a man, his daughter and another relative have died in a fire reported at a house in Menikkumbura, Katugastota.
Police said the mother of the child was admitted to the Kandy Teaching Hospital after sustaining injuries in the fire.
It was reported that four houses were damaged due to the fire reported early this morning.
The fire has been doused by the Fire Brigade.
The cause of the fire has not been determined thus far while further investigations are being carried out by the Katugastota Police.
