Litro to resume gas distribution today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Litro Gas stated that the unloading of gas from the ship that arrived in the island has already commenced, after necessary measures were taken to make payments for the shipment.

Accordingly, the company stated that the distribution of gas will resume from Thursday (17) afternoon.

35,000 MT of gas was imported to Sri Lanka via this shipments, and it will be sufficient for the next three days.

Meanwhile, another ship carrying gas is scheduled to arrive in the country within the next two days.

The ship from the Maldives is expected to carry 2,500 MT of gas.

Laugfs Gas, meanwhile, said it had NOT yet been able to obtain letters of credit to purchase gas.
