MP Wimal Weerawansa to make a special statement in Parliament

(UTV | COLOMBO) – MP Wimal Weerawansa, who was removed from the post of Minister in accordance with the powers vested in the President, is scheduled to make a special statement in Parliament today.

It is reported that the Member of Parliament has requested the Speaker to give him the opportunity to do so.

Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila, who were removed from their posts as Ministers of Industry and Energy, did not attend the sittings yesterday.
