Sanjiv Goenka and CVC Capital have won the bidding war among nearly 10 competitors which was hosted by BCCI in Dubai on October 25, 2021. The BCCI gets a whooping 12,690cr (1.7 Billion dollars) from the sale of 2 New IPL Teams.
Gujarat Titans will be having a purse of 52 crores in IPL 2022 Mega Auction after spending INR 38 crore (USD 5.1 million approx) on Pandya (INR 15 crore/USD 2.02 million approx), Rashid (INR 15 crore) and Gill (INR 8 crore/USD 1.07 million approx).
