(UTV | COLOMBO) – Batsman Kusal Mendis has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the upcoming Australia-Sri Lanka Twenty20 International series.
Mendis is part of the Sri Lanka squad preparing for the five-match T20 series which begins on Friday.
Speaking during the pre-series media briefing, Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka confirmed that Mendis returned positive for COVID-19 during a routine Rapid Antigen Test.
