No Power Cuts if CEB gets sufficient fuel

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ceylon Electricity Board says that there will be no requirement for power cuts today and tomorrow if sufficient fuel is made available.

The CEB was able to supply electricity without any disruption after receiving 100 metric tons of fuel by last afternoon.

The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers’ Union also stated that the planned power cuts were not carried out yesterday since the CEB received sufficient fuel.

The Union added since the CEB has received sufficient stocks of fuel it is possible to provide electricity without any disruptions during the next few days as well.
