State Minister Susil Premajayantha removed from post with immediate effect

(UTV | COLOMBO) – State Minister Susil Premajayantha has also been removed from the ministerial post with immediate effect.

He has been removed in accordance with the powers vested by the President.

The President’s Media Division stated this in a statement.

It is reported that the President has expressed his displeasure over the role of the State Minister Susil Premajayantha in the Cabinet meeting held last evening (03).

The President has stated that one should not criticize the actions of the government while holding office as a government minister.

State Minister Susil Premajayantha, who visited the Delkanda Public Fair last Sunday, also criticized the government’s policies and programs while addressing a media briefing, stating that the Agriculture Minister had failed miserably.
