(UTV | COLOMBO) – Prices of eggs and poultry, which had risen sharply during the last festive season, have now come down.
The Poultry Producers’ Association stated that a kilo of chicken which was Rs. 750 is now being sold for between Rs. 700 and 690.
Accordingly, the price of chicken has been reduced by between Rs 50 and Rs 60.
Meanwhile, the price of an egg has been reduced by Rs 3 and an egg which was Rs 26 is now being sold for Rs 23.
