(UTV | COLOMBO) – The first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2022 is scheduled to be held this evening.
It will get underway at 5pm at the Presidential Secretariat.
As Cabinet of Ministers did not meet last week, a large number of Cabinet papers are reportedly due to be discussed today.
Meanwhile, Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal and the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance SR Attygalle were due to be summoned to the Cabinet meeting today, to discuss the current economic situation in the country.
However, they were reportedly not summoned for today’s meeting.
